MARINA (WHARF II) FIRE WATER SYSTEM REPLACEMENT

On April 2, 2007, Gonzalez Construction Enterprises Inc. DBA Universal Structures, (City Contractor), will start construction of the Marina Fire Water System Replacement Project located on the boat docks within the City Marina. This project is funded by the Capital Improvement Program.

In general the work will consist of furnishing all materials and labor required to replace existing fire water pipe, fire extinguisher boxes, fire extinguishers, valves, flexible connections, fitting and expansion loops and miscellaneous work for a complete and operational system. This project is to replace and upgrade the fire water system to reduce maintenance and increase reliability of the system.

Construction noise and minor construction inconveniences at the Marina are anticipated during construction. Estimated construction completion date is July 31, 2007.
