Registration for Monterey Recreation Summer Camp Programs is Open

Monterey, CA. – Registration for Summer Camp programs with Monterey Recreation is now open. Various enrichment, sports, and educational programs for all ages are now accepting registrations with more to be announced in the coming weeks. Programs are offered for youth ages 5 to 18 years old, and are held at locations throughout Monterey, including the Casanova Oak Knoll Park Center, Hilltop Park Center, Whispering Pines Park, as well as Toro Park near Salinas. Each summer, over 2,400 participants take part in dozens of unique classes and programs offered by the City of Monterey’s Recreation Division.

“Monterey Recreation’s Summer Camp programs have been a time-honored tradition in our community for decades. We are proud to facilitate fun and memorable experiences for youth from across Monterey County,” said Shannon Leon, Recreation Manager.

The current list of available camps and programs includes the following:

  • Camp Quien Sabe Youth Overnight Camp
  • Whispering Pines Day Camp
  • Summer Fun Playground Program
  • Tiny Tots Summer Camp
  • Baseball, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Challenger International Soccer, Gymnastics, and Track and Field Youth Sports Camps
  • Summer Art Camp
  • LEGO Camp
  • Engineering Camp
