Human Trafficking and Firearms Arrest

On Friday, April 12, 2024 at approximately 8:30 a.m., Monterey Police Officers and Agents from the U.S. Marshals Service were conducting surveillance in the 2200 block of North Fremont Street. The purpose of the surveillance was to locate and apprehend a suspect that had an outstanding $1.2 million arrest warrant for his arrest out of Manteca, California for human trafficking.
