The City of Monterey Finance team has been awarded the prestigious Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the 2023-24 Fiscal Year (FY) Budget. A few new inclusions this fiscal year in the budget document include an expanded detail of the expenditures (listed by department), a more comprehensive view of the transfers (page 73), a table of the debt schedule (page 75), and capital improvement projects (page 81).
