The Colton Hall Museum and Cultural Arts Commission of the City of Monterey is calling for artists to perform as part of the year 2009 Colton Hall Music series.

We present three midweek concerts per year. The concerts are held on the second floor of Colton Hall, January through March. The concerts begin at 7:30 pm and last for approximately one hour. Due to the costs of renting and delivering pianos to the upstairs hall, piano concerts are no longer offered as part of this series. Requests for piano concerts will not be accepted.

If you are interested in performing in the 2008 Colton Hall Music series please submit the following information for review by the Colton Hall Museum and Cultural Arts Commission:

• Letter of submittal requesting a performance in Colton Hall

• Performance fee

• Sample program, including at least one classical or chamber music piece

• Audio cassette or compact disc recording of a live performance

• Number of performers

• Contact person, phone number and address
   

Submittals must reach Colton Hall no later than
4:00 p.m.  September 8,  2008
(No late or incomplete submittals will be accepted)
