Surfing Lifestyle ● Textures and Colors of Monterey ● Monterey's 11th Cavalry

May 22 - September 21, 2009

Surfing Lifestyle celebrates the surfing culture as captured by local artist Andy Williams. His oil paintings and cut-outs depict local surf scenes and surfers.
Textures and Colors of Monterey is a study by Carol Keyes of the historic elements of Monterey. Carol mixes 3-dimensional constructs and mixed media paintings to deliver a vibrant picture of our town.
Monterey's 11th Cavalry watercolor paintings by Dorothy Smith Stoffey take us back to a time when the Presidio was alive with the 11th Cavalry prior to World War II. These paintings depict the skillful horsemanship of the regiment at play and on parade.
