Our Communities

The Monterey Community Policing Initiative (MCPI) divides the City into 20 areas. The goals of MCPI are:

• To establish direct communication between community members and department members;
• To educate community members on problem solving; and
• To efficiently and effectively utilize department and other City resources based on team members' knowledge of community members and issues within their respective areas.

We invite and encourage you to join us. Community policing requires community involvement. Watch your mail for flyers announcing the next meeting in your area or check here.
