Annual "Bucks for Books" Campaign Raises $18,300

The Library's annual "Bucks for Books" campaign raised $18,300 for the purchase of books, DVDs, CDs and other collections, just slightly short of its $20,000 goal.  

The Library's collections budget was cut almost 30% over the past four years and, in the current fiscal year, the Library has $55,000 less to spend on collections. Last year, the Library checked out 426,994 items, a number expected to increase in the current year.
