"Using the Web for Medicare and More" 
The Monterey Public Library will host a live, interactive demonstration by Bob Petty, Director of Community Education at the Alliance on Aging on Monday, August 24, 2009, 5:30 – 7 p.m.  

View Medicare’s official Web site, www.Medicare.gov, on a big screen, and learn how to research and enroll in Medicare Part D Drug Plans, find physicians who “participate in Medicare”, compare ratings of nursing homes, check your Medicare records and bills, get an estimate of your Social Security benefits, coordinate your Social Security benefits with other income, determine what benefits you are entitled to and more.

Adults are invited to attend, and admission is free.  The event will take place in the Library Community Room, located at 625 Pacific Street, Monterey.
