The Friends of the Monterey Public Library will host their annual Giant Book Sale, the weekend of December 2-4.  Gently used and "just like new" books, CDs and DVDs make great, "green" gifts at bargain prices!  Proceeds go to buy more new materials that everyone can borrow from  the Library.

It all takes place in the Library's Community Room.  The Preview Sale for members only (join at the door!) will be on Friday, December 2, 3 - 5 p.m.  The sale will take place on Saturday, December 3, 10 a.m - 4 p.m., and on Sunday, December 4, come by from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and fill up a whole shopping bag of books for only $5.The Monterey Public Library is located at 625 Pacific Street, Monterey.   For more information call  831.646.5602 or visit www.monterey.org/library
