The Monterey Public Library presents Secrets Behind the Lion Dance on Saturday, February 9, at 3 p.m., in the Library Community Room. Discover the exotic tradition of the Chinese Lion Dance with its traditional martial arts footwork and postures. Lion dancers will include a demonstration of the movements and children will have an opportunity to participate. Children ages 5-up are invited and admission is free.
