Join the Friends of the Monterey Public Library on Friday, February 15, 7 - 9 p.m. for the 8th Annual Chocolate & Wine Tasting Benefit. Sample a wide variety of local wines, plus Prosecco and Ports, and enjoy a dazzling array of chocolate including cakes, candies, petit fours, ice cream, brownies, cookies, fondue, courtesy of local bakeries and grocers. There will be a risotto-making demonstration, mole, and even "chocolate ale"! The event features a silent auction and live music. Winners of the Chocolate Cookie/Brownie Contest will be announced. Tickets $25 in advance at the Library or $30 at the door. All proceeds go to purchase books and other resources for the Monterey Public Library. Must be 21-up to attend.
