The Monterey Public Library presents the annual Robert Louis Stevenson "Unbirthday" celebration, this year focused on Stevenson as a travel writer.  A panel of Stevenson aficionados will discuss their own travels in the footsteps of the great author, along with selected readings.  The evening will take participants to Edinburgh, Cevennes, the Napa Valley, Samoa and other places that were the subject of Stevenson's first hand accounts.  For adults.  Admission is free, but donations are welcome at the door.  Seating reservations are required.  Call 831.646.3949 or email mccombs@ci.monterey.ca.us.
