The Monterey Public Library presents Theater is 'Where the Wild Things Are', a workshop for young actors on Thursday, June 28, at 3 p.m.  Workshop leader Jerry Falek will invite participants to study Maurice Sendak's illustrations for clues to the characters, then hear the story, and improvise movement to enact the story as a play. The event is part of the Library's Summer Reading Program.
