California Reads

Monterey Public Library and the Monterey Peninsula Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League present Searching for Democracy: California Reads. Monterey is reading Farewell to Manzanar by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston. Joins us for lectures, discussions, and exhibits about the Japanese American internment during World War II and its effect on democracy then and in the 21st century. Click here to learn more.
