How to Lose Your Lawn and Live Happily Ever After

How to Lose Your Lawn and Live Happily Ever After

Tuesday, July 7, 6:00 p.m.

The recent drought has increased the need for replacing thirsty lawns with drought tolerant ground covers, small shrubs, perennials and/or succulents. Join us for this informative presentation with Master Gardener Claudia Boulton and learn how to transform your outdoor living space with native, Mediterranean, and drought tolerant plants.

Claudia Boulton is a landscape designer serving residential clients in the Monterey Bay Area. She has always favored California native, Mediterranean and drought tolerant plants in her design work. Six years ago she began to focus on the removal of lawns, considering them inappropriate for our California climate zones. She is a Master Gardener and a member of both the California Native Plant Society and the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.  She lives in Aptos.
