Tai Chi Chuan for Health & Fitness with Dr. M.D., Ph.D., and Master Trainer Emeritus Tai Chi for Health
On Monday, March 13, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., Dr. Stephanie Taylor, MD, will review classical Tai Chi forms, as well the newer short forms for health. Everyone will have a chance to participate in a short exercise. Dr. Taylor’s classes are noteworthy for both depth and lightness of heart. Dr. Taylor was one of the founding Master Trainers of Tai Chi for Health which is now a worldwide movement with five million individuals trained in the short forms. Stephanie Taylor, M.D., Ph.D. is a board-certified gynecologist and founder of A Woman’s Wellspring, Carmel, CA. A Woman’s Wellspring is an integrative medical practice uniting the ancient triad of mind, body and spirit. She teaches Tai Chi classes Saturday mornings in Pacific Grove.
This event is part of The Next Chapter: Designing Your Ideal Life lecture series sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Monterey Public Library Endowment Committee.
