Live, Laugh and Learn with Dr. Richard Westbrook, D.C., Improv Instructor

Monday, January 23, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Why so serious?  Most adults have forgotten how to interact in a playful and accepting manner because it was systematically discouraged.  Through the use of improvisational theater techniques, you will get the opportunity to experience a room full of adults rediscovering the power of play.  You will be entertained, informed and engaged in a process that will release your endorphins, lower your blood pressure and leave you with a sense of relaxation.  Wear comfortable clothing because this will be highly interactive.  Plus, who wants to sit for one and a half hours?

This event is part of The Next Chapter: Designing Your Ideal Life lecture series sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Monterey Public Library Endowment Committee.  Adults are invited to attend.  Admission is free, and reservations are required.  Sign up at the Help Desk or contact Sirie Thongchua at (831) 646-5632 or email thongchu@monterey.org.
