What It Is Like To Go To War in Prose & Poetry

The Monterey Public Library presents an afternoon of poetry and prose exploring what it is like to go to war, based on the book, "What It Is Like To Go To War", by Karl Marlantes, on Saturday, September 27, 3 - 4:30 p.m., in the Library Community Room.  Readers include Bill Michael, Jo Todd, Oscar Hernandez and Victor Henry.  Adults and mature teens are invited to attend, and admission is free.  

This is the first of four "California Reads" presentations on this topic, funded through a grant from CAL Humanities.
