Monterey and Pacific Grove Libary Cardholders May Now Download Books to Amazon Kindle

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The eBook collections at the Monterey Public Library and Pacific Grove Library are now compatible with the Amazon® Kindle, and customers of these libraries may now use their library cards to download eBooks to a Kindle device or any mobile device running the free Kindle app.  The libraries also offer eBooks and audio books for use on a PC or Mac computer and other devices such as Smartphone, MP3 player and eBook readers, including the Barnes & Nobel® Nook™ and Sony®Reader

Kindle users can browse the libraries’ collections of ebooks at http://ncdl.lib.overdrive.com from a PC or Mac, check out titles using a library card, and select “Get for Kindle” to deliver eBooks to their Kindle device or any device running the free Kindle app.
