Lisa Ow, ND.will speak on the topic of Adrenal Fatigue and Naturopathic Medicine at the Monterey Public Library on Wednesday, November 16, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Adrenal fatigue is a term used to describe sub-optimal functioning of the adrenal glands, which is thought to affect 80% of adults in the U.S., largely undiagnosed.  During this lecture, Dr. Ow till discuss symptoms and stages of adrenal fatigue, what tests help diagnose it, and how Naturopathic Medicine can help you recover from it.  There will also be a brief general discussion of Naturopathic Medicine. 

Dr. Ow is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor who has been serving the Salinas Valley and Monterey for four years.  She received her doctorate from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, the nation's largest school of natural health sciences. 

This lecture is part of The Next Chapter: Designing Your Ideal Life series, covering health and well-being, planning for the future, and other topics for the second half of life.  The series is sponsored by the Friends of the Monterey Public Library and the Monterey Public Library Endowment Committee.
