"The Abalone King of Monterey" Lecture with Tim Thomas

The Monterey Public Library presents historian and author Tim Thomas discussing his newest book, The Abalone King of Monterey, the story of how, in 1908, Monterey restaurateur "Pop" Ernest Doelter elevated rubbery gastropods into an epicurean delight, on Saturday, June 28, 2 p.m.   The lecture will be followed by book sale and signing.
