Local Area Housing Characteristics

A variety of rental and ownership housing options are available in the City of Monterey and adjacent communities. While housing costs tend to be slightly higher in Monterey than other areas, the City of Monterey also has several affordable housing programs which aim to meet the needs of low, moderate, and workforce-income level households. For more information regarding these programs, please contact Housing and Property Management at 831-646-3995.
