Community Priorities Help Shape
City Plan
Ensuring public safety; maintaining streets, sewer lines and facilities; preserving historic treasures; evaluating needs of youth and families; and keeping the community up-to-date on City issues ...
Where do we begin? How do we make a plan?
To answer these questions, the City must set priorities to develop an effective work plan geared to meet overall community needs.
These goals guide the Citys budget and activities each fiscal year. Although this is always an important annual process, it is especially critical during challenging economic times when services and projects may need
to be reduced or cut. Each fall, we take the opportunity
to present the Citys priority projects, which have been developed with
community input. Inside this issue youll find a status report on some ongoing
projects and discover new activities now underway.
You also have the opportunity to shape priorities for the coming year by filling out the
Community Survey (in PDF
format).
Please take five
minutes to fill out the survey and
send it in by November 30.
Thank you for participating. Together we can work to provide
quality services that help make your City an even better place to live,
work and visit.
