Library to Reduce Hours of Operation this
April 
Monterey Public Library will
reduce its hours of service in April due to budget cutbacks
at the City.
Several vacant staff positions will not be filled, leaving fewer employees
to handle essential public service functions. Effective April 1, the
Librarys hours of operation will be as follows:
- Mon. to Weds. - 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
- Thurs. & Fri. - 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Sunday 1 p.m.-5 p.m.

If you want a book, not a reservation, check out Express Best Sellers at
your Monterey Public Library. Express Best Sellers is an affordable, new
way to read hot new best sellers right now, since the Library cant always
buy enough copies to keep up with the demand for the most popular titles.
Now you can borrow books that everyones talking about for the small fee
of $2 for one week. If you need a little more time to finish up, you pay
only another $1 per day for additional days.

available at the Monterey Public Library. Find info on residence, family
members, birthplace, personal description and occupation.
