Recipients of the Monterey Fire Department's Meritorious Conduct Award Adam Mitchell and Carmel Flores for their actions in saving the life of a diver in trouble off of Cannery Row in Monterey.  Both were honor by the City Council in performing life saving CPR which resulted in the saving of a life.  Adam Mitchell is a Fire fighter with Sacramento Metro Fire Department and Carmel Flores is an Engineer with the California Department of Forestry in Napa County.
