Basic Life Saver Adult & Pediatric
CPR
Course This course is designed to teach members of the community Cardio
Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children and infants. Students will learn how
the heart and circulatory system work. They will also learn the warning signs of a heart
attack and what to do if one should occur. Students will also be introduced to what
actions to take to treat a choking victim (foreign-body airway obstruction). The American
Heart Association certification is valid for two years upon completion of the course.
