Basic Life Saver Adult & Pediatric CPR Course

This course is designed to teach members of the community Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children and infants. Students will learn how the heart and circulatory system work. They will also learn the warning signs of a heart attack and what to do if one should occur. Students will also be introduced to what actions to take to treat a choking victim (foreign-body airway obstruction). The American Heart Association certification is valid for two years upon completion of the course.

CPR Schedule

Course requirements: Ages 12 years and older
Course duration: 1-class 4-hours
Location: Monterey Youth Center or Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
Instructors: Monterey Fire Department Personnel
Fees: $10.00 if you work or live in the City of Monterey, $40.00 for all others.
