What does it cost and how do I qualify?

1. Live in the City of Monterey, or any jurisdiction that receives fire protection from the Monterey Fire Department. (Free Enrollment)

2. Work in the City of Monterey, or any jurisdiction that receives fire protection from the Monterey Fire Department. (Free Enrollment)

3. Be a minimum of 13 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must have written consent from their parents to attend classes.

Individuals who wish to participate in the City of Monterey cert training but don't meet qualifications 1 or 2 (above) may do so. A $30.00 fee for the training will be assessed for materials.
