Group BBQ Reservations
Reserve a BBQ/Picnic Area For Your Next Party or Gathering!
Many of Monterey's beautiful parks offer group BBQ/picnic areas available for your private use. Reservations are made by purchasing a BBQ/Picnic Facility Use Permit. It's easy – just follow the steps below:
1. Review the list of parks below that offer BBQ/Picnic areas. Call the contact number listed for the park you choose to check availability for the date of your gathering.
2. If a Community Center is located at the park you are interested in, or if you are interested in reserving an area at Veteran’s Memorial Park, please go to that park directly to purchase your permit.
3. If the park you are interested in lists the Monterey Recreation Administration office as the location to purchase a permit, you have several options. You may purchase your permit in person; you may download a
BBQ/Picnic Facility Use Permit Application
, fill it in completely and legibly and fax it to 831.646.3880, or mail it to the Monterey Recreation Administration office at 546 Dutra Street, Monterey, CA. Once we receive your application and confirm that the area is available we will process your permit and mail it to you, or you may pick it up at our office if you prefer.
