The City of Monterey Police Department wishes to submit an application for the 2012 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) to purchase 40 Apple I-Touch hand held electronic devices. Implementing the ITouch devices will improve efficiency ,  provide better documentation and will result in an estimated ongoing annual Department savings of $14,000. 

Interested citizens will have an opportunity for public comment at the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 580 Pacific Street in Monterey, California.
