Plans 4 sets
Energy Calculations (if adding conditioned space) 2 sets
Truss Calculations (if applicable) 2 sets
Soils Report 2 sets
Structural Calculations 2 sets
Specifications 2 sets
Commercial and Multi-Family (Apartments) New Construction and Additions
Plans (to include architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing and mechanical) 5 sets
Energy Calculations 2 sets
Truss Calculations (if applicable) 2 sets
Soils Report 2 sets
Structural Calculations 2 sets
Specifications 2 sets

Tenant Improvements
Plans 3 sets
Energy Calculations 2 sets
Other Calculations or Documents 2 sets

Wharf and City of Monterey Projects
Plans 5 sets

Typical plans include:

1. A site/plot map
2. A foundation plan
3. Roof & floor framing plans
4. Construction sections/details
5. Appropriate floor plans

Additional Requirements:

1. Complete address and parcel number
2. Job valuation
3. Job description "Scope of Work"
4. Minimum Paper Size, 11" X 17"
5. If your work costs $1,000.00 or more, battery operated smoke detectors are needed in halls
and bedrooms and a carbon monoxide detector on each level of home
6. Plans should be clear and legible.
