Budget Highlights:



Approximately $200,000 is included in the Community Development budget to move forward with the updating of the City's General Plan. An Associate Planning Contractor will be hired to augment current Planning staff, and consultants will be used for various technical studies and other assistance related to the General Plan update.
The budget includes $43,000 for a consultant to perform historic surveys of buildings within four areas of the City.
A total of $85,000 is provided in the budget for historic preservation grants, to encourage private property owners to participate in historic preservation.
