4th of July Press Conference
Due to construction work on the Holman Highway 68 Roundabout project next Monday and Tuesday, the southbound Highway 1 on-ramp will be closed between Holman Highway 68 and the Pebble Beach Highway 1 Gate. The Highway 1 Gate entrance to Pebble Beach will be closed; all other gates will be open. The Highway 1 Gate exit from Pebble Beach will be a right turn only.

The City of Monterey announced today the opening of the Portola Plaza and completion of Phase 1. The redesign of the Portola Plaza creates a new grand entrance to the Monterey Conference Center, welcoming visitors and residents to this vibrant city center. A new circular drive highlighted through rich and colorful stone pavers will impress future visitors of the conference center, which is scheduled to open in fall 2017.

Meet the Golden State Warriors mascot, participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m., and cheer on the finalists in a Three Point Shootout contest at 1:00 p.m. Prizes include a basketball signed by Draymond Green and a jersey signed by Kevon Looney of the Golden State Warriors.
