Communications and Outreach Office

Communications Office StaffThe Communications & Outreach Office provides strategic communications, community engagement programs, media relations and public information in emergencies. The office manages the City's external and internal websites, government access TV station, social media sites, and emergency radio station. Staff produce online newsletters, community surveys, TV programs and videos, and serve as the Public Information Office in the event of an emergency.

In the event of an emergency, watch us on Twitter @CityofMonterey, our home page at monterey.org and monterey.org/emergency. Make sure to register your cell phone at Alert Monterey County (alertmontereycounty.org) to receive text alerts and important notifications.

You can watch our programming on The Monterey Channel on-demand and on our YouTube channel. You can sign up for various online City publications, and stay connected with us on multiple social media platforms.

If you have ideas or comments, please contact us anytime. We look forward to hearing from you!
